Introducing Melinda Sluga, our Human Resources Administrative Coordinator. Celebrating her one-year anniversary with Nexus last October, Melinda has brought plenty of experience to our HR department from her previous role as an HR Generalist/Payroll Clerk at Carthage College and over 15 years in the administrative field. Melinda's favorite aspect of her position is knowing that she contributes to the Nexus mission of saving lives by supporting different departments and ensuring their well-being. Whether she's providing event planning or crafting communications, Melinda takes pride in her role that maintains a positive company culture.

Originally from Racine, Wisconsin, Melinda has called Kenosha home since the age of 13. In her free time, you'll find her cherishing precious moments with her family, including two daughters, a son, and two adorable grandchildren. Whether it's engaging in fun activities or simply spending quality time together, family is Melinda's top priority.

Melinda's favorite thing about Nexus is the family-like atmosphere and her incredible team. Being surrounded by good-hearted individuals who genuinely care about each other make it easy for her to come to work every day with a smile on her face. Looking to the future, Melinda is excited about seeing Nexus and its inviting culture continue to grow.
