Emily has been with Nexus for two and a half years and will soon enter her third year as the Territory Executive for the Pacific region, covering California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Idaho, Arizona, Utah and Colorado. Her responsibilities include building relationships with hospital pharmacy teams and driving sales within the Nexus portfolio.

Prior to joining Nexus, Emily earned a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Leadership with a minor in Psychology from Valparaiso University. She spent almost five years working for a small medical device/disposable manufacturer in Chicago, IL where she gained experience and confidence in the industry.

Originally from Grand Rapids, MI, Emily Wheeler now resides in Southern California, where she enjoys outdoor activities like sand volleyball, hiking with her husband and dog, swimming in the ocean and paddleboarding.

Emily's favorite part of her role is building relationships with hospital pharmacy buyers, directors and clinical teams. She also enjoys providing solutions to complex issues and bringing positive news to customers through new product launches and assistance with drug shortages.

She appreciates the family-like environment at Nexus and is looking forward to continuing to grow and learn in the pharmacy world with the support she receives.
